ABOUT THE TEAM The Legal Team at Mural is a collaborative and highly trusted partner, working cross-functionally across the entire company. With a culture of pragmatism, curiosity, and partnership, the team provides expertise across customer contracts, privacy, marketing, IP, employment law, and risk management. Their work is critical to enabling growth and protecting Mural’s reputation, ensuring that every decision aligns with both legal standards and business goals. YOUR MISSION You will report directly to the General Counsel. You will get to apply your contract drafting and negotiations skills as well as your broader legal and business acumen to supporting the GTM and product teams. WHAT YOU'LL DO Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements: SaaS subscription agreements, MSAs, SOWs, RFPs and NDAs. Serve as the primary legal point of contact for the Sales team, partnering directly with Account Executives and sales leadership throughout the deal cycle to structure terms, manage risk, and close deals efficiently. Partner with Deal Desk, Revenue Operations, and Finance on pricing, discounting, and other revenue-sensitive deal terms. Advise on data privacy and security terms in customer agreements, partnering with the Privacy and Security teams as needed. Own and continuously refine contract templates, fallback positions, and negotiation playbooks to improve consistency, reduce turnaround time, and enable the sales team to self-serve on standard terms.
