Description
The Bermuda Airport Authority is responsible for delivering a range of essential air navigation services at the L.F. Wade International Airport including air traffic control, ground electronics, meteorological and aeronautical information services. On behalf of the Government of Bermuda, the Authority also oversees the performance of Skyport and its 30-year concession to operate, maintain and redevelop the airport.The Authority invites motivated and qualified applicants to join our team of dedicated professionals as anAir Traffic Engineering Technician.This role supports the operation of a range of facilities, systems and equipment including but not limited to communication, navigation, surveillance; electronic; detection; display; meteorological; and information and communications technology equipment, by carrying out preventative and corrective maintenance services. Also evaluates, troubleshoots, repairs, installs, modifies, commissions and de-commissions equipment as required. Duties include but are not limited to:⢠Conducting daily inspections, performance tests, and maintenance activities for equipment andsystems.⢠Reporting unusual occurrences or difficulties to the Maintenance Coordinator.⢠Enforcing safety protocols and maintaining a clean, hazard-free work area.⢠Assisting with on-the-job training programs.⢠Keeping the Maintenance Coordinator informed of unserviceable equipment, maintenancechallenges, and spare parts requirements.⢠Completing installatio --- Source: remoteok - Bermuda Airport Authority
