Beneath a simple yet elegant user interface lies a complex system of functionalities. Our AI-powered product uses advanced image recognition, facial verification, face recognition, facial anti-spoofing (liveness detection), and behavior analysis to make identity decisions. We help our partners build onboarding processes that ensure good people get things done and bad folks get stopped. But knowing who someone is only gets you halfway. The next question is whether they can be trusted — and answering it means checking a person's identity data against the authoritative sources that hold the truth. Every country does this differently: a different registry, a different database, a different set of rules about what can be checked and how. To take our platform to the next level, we're looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join the Trust team. This team builds and operates the services that validate a person's identity data against country-specific authoritative sources — government registries, national databases, AML and sanctions screening — and turns that patchwork of very different upstreams into a single, dependable trust signal our customers can act on. Alongside sibling teams like Trust Registries and Trusted Documents, your work directly determines how many countries we can cover, how fast we can launch a new one, and how much our partners can rely on the answer we give them.
